In this position, you report directly to the Business Control Manager.

Your mission

• In this position, you will analyze inventory levels and provide business insights and recommendations to support business objectives.
• Your main responsibilities include analyzing inventory levels, identifying trends, and facilitating the inventory forecast process with the key stakeholders.
• You will provide detailed inventory input for Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) presentations and meetings, delivering actionable insights on inventory management.
• You will ensure accuracy and consistency in product master data, manage stock at different stages, and perform monthly and yearly closing activities related to inventory.
• Additionally, you will identify, analyze, and resolve inventory process errors, investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies between Warehouse Management System (WMS) and SAP, and create, validate, and upload internal controls related to inventory reports.
• Conducting regular cycle counts and preparing inventory forecasts for quarterly and yearly reviews are also part of your role.
• You will represent inventory matters during internal and external audits.
• Furthermore, you will support the business control or occasionally the financial control team with assigned tasks and business analysis in other areas and in projects.

Your profile

• We’re looking for someone with a bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, combined with proven experience in inventory management, preferably with WMS and SAP.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to write and read scripts using analytics and data visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Power BI) are a strong asset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools is essential.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, are crucial.
