Our client is looking for an IT Technician (32 – 40 hours per week)
Den Hoorn, South Holland 

Are you looking for a challenge in a small but dedicated team? We have an exciting opportunity for you!  Our client is seeking an IT Technician to drive their IT Benelux Team. Together with a small but dedicated team you will be responsible for the IT environment in their locations in the Benelux region. Your tasks will include supporting the logistical process in their modern distribution center in Den Hoorn, providing user support, and working diverse projects together with the local team, and support from their global colleagues around the world.

This position reports to the IT Country Manager AT/BLX/CH/ DE/PL.

Job purpose

The job’s purpose is to ensure the delivery of IT services in their location in Benelux, including their new high-tech warehouse in Den Hoorn, covering infrastructure, applications, systems, and user support. Together with a small local team you will deliver the first line support and coordinate with their global team of IT experts.

Main responsibilities

• Support your colleagues with technical questions and deskside support.
• Responsible for coordinating the activities related to delivery of IT in terms of infrastructure (network, telecommunications, basic software, hardware, servers) and applications.
• Execute local IT projects and support global projects.
• Responsible for ensuring IT procurement.
• Work in a warehouse environment with a high-tech material handling system.

Your profile

We are looking for an individual with an MBO/HBO degree in IT. You have good communication skills in Dutch and English, both verbal and in writing. You are familiar with systems such as Windows, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Azure, Windows Server, ServiceNow, and networking. You are in possession of the following competencies:

• Analytical skills (troubleshooting technical issues)
• Good communicator
• Structured
• Ability to learn.
• Attention to detail.
